In a word, no. Read up on this in previous threads. The bulb has to list on the packaging that it produces UVB and has to be rather near (6 to 12 inches) the lizard. Even many bulbs that list UVB as an output are very sketchy.

I second Marks answer,... NO! All that basking bulb is is a fancy version of the light you have in your household fixtures. A uvb bulb is a must have for iguanas that aren't kept outside and exposed to sunlight. Without it they will cripple, become deformed, and die. This one is serious.

This is our setup for Iggi, our free roamer. I would use a florescent fixture, and a bulb like the one in the photo. Pardon the sneeze on the window.

The "basking" tag on it probably just means that the colors are corrected with tints and coats of stuff. Incandescent bulbs are rather yellow and florescent are blue so they don't show colors the same way as the sun will. My ex-gf used one of these in her closet to show her what colors she really was wearing. It won’t hurt anything to keep it in there but you need to provide UVB.
