I came home today and noticed a small cut on Yodas front left hand... not sure what caused it... I cleaned it up and it dosn't look bad ...however it did bleed as there was some dry blood... I cleaned it up and he was more than happy to let me ...so It dosnt seem to be bugging him much... Should I be concerned or what...? The only Item in his encloseure that may have caused it ..is his littly wicker platform ...maybey a sharp edge of one of the sticks.... Yoda and James

Hi James-
Yoda should be fine. Just be sure the cut is clean and covered with antibiotic medicine.
They heal rather quickly when cut. I guess it's Mother Nature's way of dealing with a tree dweller.
More importantly, I'd definitely do something about the Wicker Chair, if you think that's how he cut himself. Don't want it to keep happening.
Is there something you could coat it with? Or maybe coat the sharp edges?

Oh and I covered the whicker platform up for now.. I actualy only had it in there to give him something from the old (fish Tank) to help him feel comfy while he got use to the new place....he realy only uses it to get a little shade now ...I might just take it out and he will have to make use of the shade on the lower levels... Thanks for the reply... James and Yoda..
