When we got Kyo, he had a toe on his front foot that was discoloured, and bent at really odd angles. The vet thought that he would probably lose it.
Well, his toe is now the same healthy green as the others, sheds, claw grows at the same rate, but it still bends weird. It is growing at the same rate as the others. He uses it when climbing, and it doesn't seem to bother him at all.
Should I worry? I thought it was fine, but my son keeps harping on it.

Sounds like the toe has been broken and then healed itself but not in the correct position. Since the toe itself looks healthy and it isn't affecting his climbing I wouldn't worry about it.

Narcy has several badly healed toes that are bent at odd angles, although he climbs just fine and they don't bother him. He was a rescue, and the gentleman i bought him from said Narcy's original owner thought it fun to blow pot smoke in his face and then watch him try to climb and fall. Hence the broken toes. He is a beautiful iguana even WITH the bendy toes! Some people have a very sick idea of how to have fun. I'm sure if your iggies toe is coloring nicely, it is ok.
