this morning i found him in wierd spot when woke up he was hanging on the side of his cage its like a metal screen. i left to work and when i got hme he was still there. i opened his cage and went to grab him and he didnt even move, when he usually goes crazy. i got him to move a lil but he seems to just want to stay there

This could be any number of things.
1) Are any of his toes stuck? Look at each toe and claw.
2) Is he warm enough?
3) Is there something interesting to watch from right there?
4) Is he just being stubborn, igs are like that?
What are some other bases that I missed?

What great pics. Some igs just get wierd like this. No need for a vet right now. Mark has some good ideas of what it could be. It may be as easy as temps needing to be readjusted to something spooking him. Give him a few days.
How far away are your lights from the basking spot? From the pics it seems like a good distance. And what type of UVB are you using?

its a breeder seris uvb bulb one of those ones that is like a florescent tube bulb but it screws intoa reg light thing. i think that is said that it but out 10.0 uvb. it was the like $50. but ur right he seems to be back to norm thanks a lot.

ha i found out what is was i had unpluged his little heat pad with out knowing and his rocks wernt as warm with only the light on them thanks though everyone

He really needs to be getting his heat from ABOVE, not below. Is there some way you can change your cage set-up so that he has a heat lamp above him (92-98 degrees) for basking?
