Well got back from the vet tonight and she is healing pretty good but will have another 4 weeks with splint on. I asked the vet about how to keep cast clean and she said not a whole lot i can do about it. she said just wash it off best i can. she did put new wrap on and instead of blue she now has purple. but for now its is all clean. there was another lady in the vets with an iguana (full grown) it was beautiful. but draco used to look big to me until i saw that one Well just wanted to update all those interested in dracos progress. she was sooooo glad to be home. ;D

Maybe you can use something like paper towel to wrap around the caste and use some paper tape to secure it. When it gets dirty replace it. Just a thought. I would think air could get through.

I guess I will just do my best to keep it clean with wiping it off. The way she moves around i think paper towels would rip too easy. She is pretty active for having a broken leg. They took another xray when we were in the vet and it is starting to heal pretty good, but i think she kinda moved the bone from the original setting. but the vet said it was going to be fine but she might have one leg slightly shorter than the other but that shouldnt cause any trouble cept for maybe arthritis later in life. My poor baby does so good at the vets office. she never tries to bite or tail whip anyone. ;D
