is there someway to keep the water clean longer? besides pulling it out and replacing it everyday? I bought a plastic tub at the hardware store for Z today big enough for him to easily soak in it if he wants but it seems like hauling it out everydays going to be a pain eventually i want to have an enclouser with a drain and faucet on the pool so it can easily be emptyed, cleaned and refilled without moving it. is there a filter or something i cant put on/in the tub so i dont have to change it some frequently or am i stuck with everyday changing?

Nope...there's no way to do that. The water should be replaced AT LEAST once a day. Nasty bacteria quickly multiplies in water and there isn't anything we can do to it to prevent that...aside from putting things in it that would also kill our igs. I suggest that you start getting him used to the bath tub. It'll make your cleaning chores much lighter in the end.
