Hey all,
I'll try to make this short ;D. I have had puff for 6 weeks now and what a joy!! !!! She comes out of her cage into my lap, she walks on a leash, loves her baths, and has never shown me any agression. She has on occasions hissed at me when she is bathing but it's just to let me know she is not ready to get out. She did a little head bob to a county worker who was talking to me, he acually walked away from her cage towards me and she ran in my direction and sorta puffed out and starting bobing and continued until he walked away then she calmed down real fast.
She loves to be lightly wraped in her towel after her bath. Then we walk around with her next to my chest and her head (I can hear Merlin now) in the crook of my neck!
our eveing down time is usually spent reading this site. She often lays in by lap or behind me on the back of my chair. She has just lately started to climb (with my help) up on the computer desk and then on to the top of the moniter.
She ate a bit of turnip greens from my hand this eve. I had only tried to hand feed her once before then I learned hand feeding could lead to a problem.
I tried to nite and in about 3 mins she had the greens gone, probly would have eaten more but she already had dinner.
Got lab results back today and she got a complete bill of health. Vet says she is a little small for her age, but otherwise healthy. I asked him to show me how to open her mouth should the occasion present itself that I would know how..She didn't like it to much when the vet did it but doesn't seem to mind when I practice. She'll also drink out of an eyedropper.
So it's As all the way.
Cathy & Puff
PS I'm gonna atempt to do pictures next week. wish me luck.
