;D ;D ;D The breeding season from hades is officially in the past! ;D ;D ;D
At first I thought Gil was suffering from a bit of "post move stress," because he wasn't attacking his "sock" every day and then I realized he hadn't pooped in his enclosure for two days. I was getting quite worried, and decided that I'd have to take him to the vet.
Since we've been so busy with the move and the house is in chaoic disarray with boxes everywhere, I hadn't had him out of his enclosure as much as I'd like, so I decided to take him for a walk around the new neighborhood. I was hoping that the fresh air and real sun would help him feel better and less stressed. Well, it did! We got to the farthest point from our house, and he let out a bit of a grunt and... eewww... urates down my front! Boy I moved my arm (and him with it) away from my body just in time... I don't think I've ever seen such a big poop! And the way it went "splat," there's NO WAY you could get me to walk under ig trees in the wild!
Well, he felt MUCH better (as you can imagine)! So we're back to the old routine... potty in the tub in the morning and then back into the enclosure. He's not even interested in using his potty box. I swear breeding season brings testosterone poisoning with it! Sheesh!
I'm SO glad to have my tidy, sweet boy back. I hope the green monster NEVER comes back, but if he does, I'll just hang on for another wild green ride!

Glad to hear that Steph! Though, I must admit, I miss the little guy and his "wild" way.
