Thanks V. I sure enjoy them. Gotta tell yah though that female is so unpredictable. Remeber back when she was eating like a hog compared to usual, and we thought maybe she was in season, well , nothing came of that and then she kinda went back to her usual self of maybe finishing the bowl every 3 day's. Now she eats a little during the day, and comes down for the last taste about 7:10 [usualy finishes all in the bowl] And their lights go off at 7:30 and she goes right to bed. She is a strange one.. It is kinda like she is backwards.. I have had her on the Mega Ray UVB since January and she is loving it, so maybe that has a little to do with screwing her up, comparing it to what she was used to.

Some igs are becoming gravid right now, too. You might want to do a little research there.

Let me ask a question. She is 7 years old, prior care was bad as we know, and she never layed any eggs. Question is now that she is getting good care could that turn things around and this be her first time for egg laying or can this happen anyway, good care or not. I guess what I am asking is can they lay one year and absorb another??

Yup. Some lay regularly, some don't ever, some may double-clutch, some may lay one year and absorb in another. It's a toss of the dice with ig and being gravid. Even very sick igs can become gravid and this often has tragic results, as you could imagine.
