Sorry sure you have seen this question a million times....so here is a million and one...
I got Little Foot in March of this year took to him/her to the vet that week I brought him home. Vet guesstimated LF to be about 6/7 months old at that time.....So here we are in July wondering is it still too soon to tell if Little Foot is truly a male or female? I took a few pics to give a visual incase you think LF is developed enough to tell the sex... (No animals were harmed in the taking of these photos....had to use the towel to keep calm long enough to take since I was doing it alone...) Little Foot is measuring about 6" SVL and about 16" STL currently (measurements are as accurate as possible when wrestling an iguana who would rather not be cooperative at that particular moment...) One other note LF had dropped his/her tail prior to coming to me so most of his growth has been ALL tail and oh yeah testing the limits of "not being able to over feed an ig...Sort of resembles a green cow...) Thanks....Littledragonkeeper

Hi Mary It's too soon to tell. You'll need to wait until LF is 9-10 inches SVL. Even then, unless you get a DNA test done, LF flashes hemipenes or develops eggs, it's only gonna be an educated guess. They live to make us crazy. ;D (At this point it looks female)

At least you got a uni-sex name! I had a corn snake called Calvin, she was lovely!
