My iguana(Godzilla) is in mating season for the first time.But his movements is very strange,he walks like a cat does when its in mating season.Whats wrong with my iggy.?Ive taken him to the vet 3 times and they just say he is healthy and I have nothing to worry about.Is this normal in males when thay are in season for the first time??  .Please help me..Im scared Ill lose him  Oh and heres pics... I'm sure there's nothing to be worried about, judging by the pics you posted he looks nice, healthy and alert. What do you mean by "walks like a cat"? If you're refering to the hatchet walk (puffs up and makes himself look taller while walking in a jerky way) or simply the intima-puff (simply puffing up while walking to make himself known)? The attitude is pretty normal for most males, sometimes even out of breeding season. A lot of the time it's based on territory, basically telling you "hey...this here area is mine see..." lol  Silly creatures.
