Hi, my name is Ginny, and I found a link to your site from HerpCenter.com.
While at the pet store today, I found an ad for and Ig that needed a new home ASAP, and since I had been considering getting one, called up. I will be going to meet his owners ealy this coming week...
"He" is 4 feet, and 5 years old. We are getting a 6'x4'x2' enclosure that he is housed in, but I don't know if that is big enough for him. Other than wondering if he will need a bigger home right away, I feel confident that I have educated myself as to what I need to do to care for the newest baby...
Any suggestions or comments on topics I might not have thought of would be great.
I look forward to talking to all of you in the future.

Hi Ginny Ditto what Veronica said. It sounds as though you've already made the decision to take him. They are awesome creatures and owning one can be a very rewarding experience. A 4 ft ig could pose quite a challenge if he isn't already socialized. (and possibly even if he IS ;D ) Have you had any previous experience handling them? Knowing their body language plays a huge roll when interacting with them. Here's a great link to help familiarize yourself with behaviors. homepage.ntlworld.com/steve.woodward/mk_sw.htmlPlease keep us updated and feel free to ask any questions or express any concerns you have. We'll be more than glad to help. Congratulations and welcome to IZ!
