Hi ChaosTheTitan!
Glad you could join us. ;D
Your iguana could be undersized for any number of reasons. Give us a post in the Introduction section and tell us a little bit about Chaos, his habitat, lighting, heat, etc. More of our members are more-likely to look at the discussion sections, and you can get a wealth of advice from our members.

Im glad to join : ) I needed a good forum and the other one was dieing.
Well the first 6 month of his life the pet store feed him crickets and the whites of romaine lettuce, you know the stuff that doesnt have alot of leaf on it. Then he lived in a small 10 gallon tank till he was 1 when I gained up the coruage to take over him. Then he got a 3 foot long cage and was fed collards, squash, watermellon ect. He eats like a cow and got the tube light and the sun light. (( dont know there names )) We working on an outside encloser. If he eats so much whys he so small? His belly sure got big, lol.

The events early in his life may have stunted his growth a bit, so he'll be a little behind the power curve, but you can still end up with a fairly large iguana. The first thing we need to look at is his lighting. Its very important that we find out exactly what the names are of his lights, especially the one providing his UVB. Many times, there are lights out there that fool an iguana owner into thinking its going to provide the right light. I was one of the iguana owners who made that mistake. Since then, I've been doing a lot of reading and research on the subject, as have others here. So one of us will be able to tell you if you've got a good light from personal experience, and how to properly use it so Chaos gets the full benefit.
IZ is all about the green iguana, no other species of reptile, so you'll find lots of good info here. How's Chaos with his biting? Any better, any worse? Just kidding...these things take time, much more than just a couple of days. On the other hand, if you've made some noticeable progress with him, good for you! ;D

Actually hes getting better....isnt biteing as much but I just noticed he has burned his nose so maybe thats why he was grouchy. His head is dark so yeah, it took a while to relize it.

Why do you think he burned his nose? Can you take a pic of his nose and post it?
Did you manage to find out what kind of UVB lamp you have? It should be stamped on the bulb somewhere.

Ill try to get a picture of his nose. He likes to hit the top of his cage and maybe his nose touched the bulb....who knows. The light is a sunlight UV

If he hits the top of the cage with his nose, it could be a bruise or maybe he knocked a few scales off. The skin underneath the scales of an iguana is kind of a blackish color. But a pic would still be good.

And if he is capable of hitting the bulb with his nose (or any other part of his anatomy) you need to change the set up!

Very true, Merlin. Chaos, I haven't heard of the Sunlight UV lamp. Did you get that in a pet store or a hardware store?

I found a "sun light" bulb on yahoo, it's one of those "natural" light incandescent bulbs with a slight purple tint...I'm thinking the lighting needs some MAJOR help!

The lack of UVB can be part of his health problems though, so it really needs to be addressed right away. Until you get a proper UVB light for him, you should take him outside around noon, every day, for at least an hour. Make sure you put a good hip leash on him though. DO NOT take him outside without one.
