Well I hope some of you heared about the San diego wild fire disaster in 2007.Well its almost that season agian and small fires are already burning but were all put out,Just imagine another fire this time worse.Fire fighters are already trying to take out all the dry plants to lower the risk of a fire.Last year the Rancho Bernardo was destroyed and only some house were still left standing. This worries me about what will happen if it breaks out again.I just hope that it doesn't.Does smoke effect the ways Iguanas grow?

No - it doesn't effect growth, but it does effect lung function. Reptiles easily succumb to the effects of smoke inhalation. Even if the ig survives the fire and smoke - often permanent respiratory issues ensue. I used to live in NoCal and the wildfires there were horrible. Now I live in NW TN where tornadoes are a constant worry. My fingers are mentally crossed for your during the fire season...
