I've seen them listed as safe for other animals such as birds and turtles...but not igs. I'll have to do a little research on that.

I haven't had a chance to look this afternoon. It's lizard food making night (takes over an hour), had to give a snake an injection, helped him shed, and straightened up around a bit and now just catching up. I would like to know for sure, too. I have a small lilac in the back yard just behind the house.

Ok...I've found no direct references, but I did go onto the ExoticPetsGardening Group and found a vague message where an ig and parrot shared the same salad and lilac seemed to be a part of that. The question was directed at a uro, though. I'll ask and see what's said.

Well...I asked on the Exotic Pets Gardening list and there's no definitive answer there either. However...I will say that with the minor references here and there how they're safe for people and several other animals - I would use them with strict caution and supervision until you know there will be no adverse reactions. I think I'll see how Zair likes them tomorrow...

And my general rule is if I can't find a reliable source that says its safe to feed,... I don't. There are too many other things that ARE safe to risk it.
