I was just wondering because Chester is 11 months old and he/she never had any bulges under the tail but now i see it starting to develope, but do females have hemipenal bulges? I heard that it will be really noticeable when their about 1.5 years.Chesters having signs of bulges will it be much more noticeable and bigger in a few months?

Only males have hemipenes. If he is male the bulges will become more noticeable as well as the femoral pores will get larger.

The hemipenes are the two sex organs of the male. They have two penises...so females would most definitely not have this...;-). Even at 1.5 yrs it sometimes hard to tell if the bulges are actually there unless you bend the tail just right or the shadows hit in just the right direction. 11 months old is definitely pushing the being able to I.D...but not entirely impossible.
