Hi, I'm new to this site and had a question about my iggy Mr. Tuesday. A little about him. I got my little Tue-monster from a pet store a few years ago in pretty poor shape. He was very skinny, had two small burns on his chest, and the first few times he used the bathroom it became apparent that he had worms and had been eating the wood chips out of his cage in the pet store. Mr. Tuesday is in proper health now, I don't know how old he is but he is about three feet long. He loves to take baths, climb the curtains, and lay on the back of the sofa, especially if the blinds are open and the sun is shining in. He strikes a pretty arrogant looking pose while doing this. Mr. Tuesday is also a voracious eater. He is especially fond of of all things leafy and green, with the exception of mustard greens. For some reason he always turns his nose up at them. Too spicy, perhaps? I think they taste a bit spicy, but that's just me. He also seems to enjoy mango, figs, and squashes the most out of anything I offer. The one thing about him that still bothers me though is the state of his toes. They were pretty busted up when I got him. One of his fingers, and about half of his toes were, and though now healed, still are broken. They were old breaks, there wasn't much that could be done in the way of setting them, and none of his toes were very swollen or black, so I didn't give it too much thought. He takes a calcium supplement with his food and while I'm happy to say that he hasn't sustained any new breaks, they still bug me. He's still a very pretty boy, but they're a bit unsightly. I don't believe they cause him pain, because gets around and climbs just fine, and he lets me touch them and trim his nails without complaint. Please tell me your thoughts on this? I'm just worried if this will cause any problems for him later in life?
