I put a leash on my iguana and he started to flip out a lot. it seems that in his rolling, he put a toenail through that little ear flap. when he breaths heavy, air goes through it, but he seems fine otherwise. will this heal or should he be looked at?

Perforated tympanums (ear drum) are fairly common in igs. It's not the greatest thing to happen, but not the worst either. Simply get a piece of old shed and crazy glue it (yes - crazy glue) over the hole. The next time it sheds that will come off...the hole will be closed a little more and it will eventually heal completely. Keep placing old shed over the hole until it's totally healed.

Also if you cant seem to get your hands on a piece of shed, wax paper works great.
