New here, and I have read that igs do not eat bugs, so is my Iggy psycho when he chases and eats ...uhumm ..roaches?
I live here in the South and roaches are everywhere and they LOVE Iggy's warm, humid, little roach motel, they are movin' in like they are payin' the rent.
I don't want to use pesticides aroud him, and keeping it dry and cold is not an option, so do I turn a blind eye at his (bleeeh ) dessert choices?

I really dont know what to tell you to do. Insects are a definate no-no but I dont know what would be safe to use.

Sprinkle food grade diatomeceous earth around the cage. The bugs walk thru it and it literally cuts them up. And being food grade its totally nontoxic. Another alternative is to put the cage up on legs and spread vaseline on the legs. You really need to adress this because a steady diet of animal protien will take years of the life of your pet.
