The Solar Glo is not a good bulb and I would not even begin to think about using it.. NO!!! It does not do everything an Iguana needs to survive!!
Second suggestion is that 6' is good in height.. at the minimum.. the rest should be at the minimum of 5'x5'.. These dimensions are for the smallest cage you should build for an adult Iguana.. Just know that young ones are not going to like this hugh cage!!
You need to have a basking shelf in the top of this cage that allows for 92 - 96 degrees temp.. So if that UVB light doesn't provide that [which most don't] then you need to adjust your lighting situation so it does meet this standard. To know this that would take a digital thermometor in that cage to read as it should.. Then add the lighting that you would need to keep him happy..

Well I guess it's a matter of preference really and sorry for bringing this thread out from the dark ages but I have a healthy 2 year old Iguana and I have been using 2x 250w Solarglo bulbs her whole life and she is doing quite well with Solarglo. She is now 3 feet in length and vivid green and growing like a weed, plus the vet is very impressed with her thus far so don't believe the hype.
I have living proof that the bulbs are not as bad as the tests and testimonials make them out to be.
