Tail loss need help please!!

Hello all
my iguana dropped its tail recently.
What i wanted to know is his injury looks bad?
what i did during the injury is that i soaked it in water and betadine and after that i apply terramycin topical ointment.

Its really not a big thing. Just keep the cage good and clean and a dab of neosporin on it and watch for any infection. Igs are actually designed with tail loss in mind and usually it will regrow. Though it may look a bit odd.
