Ditto what Merlin said. I have fed both leaves and fruit occasionally with no problem. I can't find any nutritional info for either

Mulberries are ok. I feed them to my girls off the tree in my back yard. Just bear in mind that fruit is supposed to be a minimal part of the diet. ;D

Dandelions are not only safe, but igs usually love them. (both the green leaves and the flowers) The greens rank 3rd place for calcium to Phosphorus ratio on our food chart. BUT...you have to be sure they come from a place that has not been exposed to lawn chemicals/fertilizers

Hi CCP and welcome to Iguana-Zone! Good to hear you cared enough about this guy to rescue him! They are fascinating creatures and it's very fulfilling to watch them flourish under proper care. I agree with Merlin and MAR. Under normal circumstances, if you leave the food there, he will eventually eat on his own. I'd suggest that you go heavy on the collard greens. (Their Calcium content is wonderful and chances are Stanley needs extra.) How long ago did you rescue him? What kind of light do you have to provide him with UVB? What are the temperatures in his cage? (basking area and ambient temp) We're all looking forward to hearing more from you.

lol...aren't they brats!? Thrasher hasn't got quite THAT bad (yet), but she does eat the flowers off the top first. For that matter, so do my Uromastyx and my spinytail. Must be kinda like when fruit comes into season and I go crazy at the market. ;D

Mark, ...as a charter member of the Missouri low level redneck society, I can tell ya...... ;D These people just want to know how long and heavy he is so when they go telling the story of seeing a guy carrying around a lizard "this big", they will be able to convey how big he really is. And next time someone asks, "Does it bite?", pretend they asked "will he eat me if I try to touch him." ;D I'm worried you are gonna have a stroke over "phrasology" lol
